We had a little trouble with this coffee maker at the start. The brewed coffee had a strong plasticky taste and was not fit to drink. Thanks to the good advice from the wonderful seller and customer support at Keurig, we were able to solve the problem by cleaning it with vinegar. Customer support said it was apparently just off the production line, which could be the cause of the problem. Now we have the perfect cup of coffee we'd been expecting when we both this machine.

I bought one of these for a friend who loves a good cup of coffee. He typically does pour over at home and makes a mess. I thought this would be convenient and fast. I had gotten him a DeLonghi dual drip and espresso machine a many years back and he never used it because it was too much work (I used it and he was right). First I have to say I didn't get this from Amazon, but I do all of my product reviews here because Amazon Reviews are my go to for buying anything regardless of where it comes from.Convenience and Ease of Use:It does make a cup of coffee in under 2 min from initial heating to actual drip. This model only has one temperature for the water, but other models allow you to control the temp. You can also put a tall glass under it and do iced tea or coffee.Water Container:It empties fast. The machine has 3 cup sizes and the smallest would fill one of those disposable community gathering sized cups. The largest cup size, which I believe is 9oz doesn't even fill a large coffee cup (about half full) so If you are thinking about putting your thermally insulated travel mug under it, don't expect it to come close to even being full. You would need to do 2 k-cups for that. If you are going to do an iced drink, the largest cup size will be fine for filling your travel mug with ice in it.K-Cups:The pods are very convenient and there are a lot of choices.Taste and Quality of the Coffee and Tea:The coffee looks like muddy river water. Looking down into your cup, you can see about 1cm into the coffee before it becomes "murky". This to me is a sign of a very bad bland cup of coffee. Coffee should dark and you shouldn't see down into it. The coffee also tastes weak. I don't like coffee much myself. I only drink it in the morning to wake up and then thats its. I even only drink half a cup poured over ice. But even I know there is something wrong with this coffee. I am more of a tea person myself and while this does have a large number of tea choices, they are also weak.Refillable K-Cup:There are several versions out there. I went with the Solofill. I figured my friend is so picky with his coffee that he wouldn't like the k-cup pod choices so I got him the refillable cup as well. It is convenient also for putting your own tea bags in, but be forewarned, you will need two teabags not one. The two bags will get you as strong of a cup of tea as 1 bag would if you let it steep for 3 minutes. I did manage to get a strong cup brewed from the refillable cup, but I had to ground the beans down to espresso powder and then tamp it into the cup (same procedure as if you are making espresso in an espresso machine and you will also need a bean grinder). You just can't fill it all the way to the top with a fine ground (this refillable design was a water sprayer that has to push down into the grounds). The machine became more of a single drip machine when I did this and I was afraid that the pressure would ruin the pump. I did get a very strong cup of coffee, but at what cost? The machine is not designed for pressurized water. It also too about 3 minutes to fill the cup on the small cup setting. Conclusion:Having said that I always use Amazon for reviews, I didn't for this and even if I had, it has a lot of very positive reviews here. I decided to Google how to make the coffee stronger and I was met with forum post after forum post of people saying this machine is the worst if you are used to a good strong cup of coffee and it really only makes coffee flavored water. So true. If you are an instant coffee person or someone who has no time in the morning for real coffee, then this machine is fine. I have a friend at work who has one in her office, but she admits it is only for a convenience thing and she just drinks coffee to wake up not to make the "Folgers in your cup" commercial face when she sips it.WARNING: If you are European or like European coffee or espresso (Cuban or Italian) keep on looking. This pod machine is not for you. A good old fashioned pour over or French press is easier and just as fast with far better results. So this machine and the refillable cup are about to make the trek back to the store to be returned.

Great price for 84 bucks. Better them buying a single serve model that you have to fill for every cup. Now this is a no frills mold but works just as good as the more expensive model I have at home. I got this for my wife to take to work.
